Security Systems Technician - 14 days on, 14 days off

Overview

Convergint is currently recruiting for an experienced Security Systems Technician to join their Parachute Team in Canada. This is a mobile role with regular travel outside of the local CTC (Convergint Technology Centre) area. The role offers a regular shift of 14 days on, 14 days off, with accommodation provided for the duration of each shift.

Responsibilities

• Installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services a substantial variety of security systems and equipment.
• Provides a key interface for the provision of technical support and training for the customer, accountable for maximizing customer satisfaction.
• Reads complex blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation requirements; interprets manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, repairs equipment, utilizing knowledge of electronics and advanced test instruments and hand tools.
