Senior Accountant

Job Title: Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
Accrual Management: Lead the month-end AP accrual process by analyzing open purchase orders and unbilled liabilities to ensure expenses are recognized in the correct accounting period.
Vendor Relations & Compliance: Maintain strong partnerships with key vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve complex billing discrepancies and ensure adherence to internal payment policies.
Treasury & Cash Flow Partnership: Collaborate with the Treasury team to provide accurate aging reports.
Tax & Regulatory Reporting: Oversee the integrity of vendor data for regulatory compliance, including the management of W-9 collection and the accurate filing of annual 1099 reporting.
Disbursement Controls: Maintain and audit the segregation of duties within the payment workflow to safeguard company assets and prevent unauthorized disbursements.
