Senior Analyst, Product Control

Overview

Position: Senior Analyst – Product Control (Reporting to Senior Manager). The role focuses on analyzing financial data, P&L reporting, product pricing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. It is part of CIBC’s finance team and involves daily and monthly reporting, reconciliation, and automation projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze profit and loss reporting and product pricing.
• Reconcile and report P&L mark‑to‑market valuation data daily and monthly.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develop automations and process‑improvement projects.
• Provide supporting activities to team lead, front office, risk management, and finance, including decomposition of P&L by risk factors.
• Review and consolidate daily commentary and analysis for stakeholders.
• Act as main point of contact for peers and stakeholders in Capital Markets, CFO Group, Front Office, Global Operations, Finance, ...
