Senior Automation Controls Engineer - Relocation to California

As an Automation Controls Engineer you will be designing and developing automated solutions, choosing parts, and programming our robotic systems. This role is based in California and may require relocation.
What You Will Be Doing
Help architect the process and controls that will control our machines.
Read and contribute to electrical schematics that define and document our systems.
Participate in mechanical and electrical design reviews to provide feedback on the systems you will be controlling.
Program the paths for the robots and motion systems that make up our automation.
Analyze customer needs, turn those into system requirements, and incorporate them into the software of the system.
Program Beckhoff PLCs using the TwinCat3 IDE.
Develop real‑time code using IEC 61131-3 Structured Text.
Develop non‑real‑time code using Python and object‑oriented design patterns.
Travel 25% to 30% of the time.
