Job Overview
As a Senior Care Assistant you will be required to ensure the support provided is of the highest standard and in compliance with all regulations and ensuring standards are maintained achieving this by supporting the care staff and management.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, mentor and supervise front-line staff.
- Offer practical and emotional support to individuals in all aspects of daily living tasks such as personal care, maintaining independence, administering medication, hobbies and life skills.
- Communicate with a variety of people including individuals receiving services, families and friends as well as other care professionals such as GP’s and social workers.
- Work as part of a team to maintain and improve wellbeing – reporting concerns to managers.
