Senior Commodity Buyer At Alstom Toronto

Alstom is seeking a Senior Commodity Buyer in Toronto with 5 to 10 years of experience to lead supplier selection and manage contracts in Civil Works.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead supplier selection processes and contract management
• Support project management for Civil Works commodity
• Contribute to supplier panel development and commodity strategies
• Negotiate with top-tier suppliers in complex environments
• Monitor procurement QCDT and legal project progression

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing or Engineering
• 5 to 10 years of relevant industry experience
• Technical knowledge of Civil Works preferred
• Solid negotiation and leadership skills
• Familiarity with ERP systems like GSI or ARIBA
