Senior Consultant, Risk Management Position within Grand River Hospital (and St. Mary’s General Hospital) as part of the upcoming merger and shared vision for future healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support and leadership for risk management throughout the organization.
Manage the legal claims administration process and related correspondence with the hospital insurer, adjuster, and legal counsel.
Provide advice and consultation to internal stakeholders in response to risk inquiries.
Coordinate risk management and enterprise risk management projects and initiatives such as the Risk Assessment Checklist (RAC) process and the Enterprise Risk Management (IRM) Plan.
Develop, implement, and review policies and processes required to reduce risk within the organization.
Participate on corporate committees and working groups from a risk management perspective.
Collaborate with other teams and quality initiatives.
