About the Position
By joining the Kardium team, you will help deliver a life‑changing medical device for atrial fibrillation, a common heart rhythm disorder that can cause stroke, heart failure, and other complications.
Location: Burnaby, BC (hybrid work arrangement).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with application and firmware developers, risk, and systems teams to develop security, safety, and therapy systems for the Globe® Pulsed Field System.
- Participate in projects related to cybersecurity and safety risk controls affecting the entire code base.
- Define and design requirements and specifications.
- Investigate reported anomalies.
- Perform code inspections.
- Conduct design, specification, and risk reviews.
- Implement test‑driven development (TDD) and unit testing.
