Senior Environmental Specialist – Fisheries and Aquatics

Our client, one of Western Canada’s leading environmental consultancies, is seeking a Senior Environmental Specialist – Fisheries and Aquatics to join their Environmental Monitoring and Assessment team in North Vancouver (requiring some travel within other parts of British Columbia and Alberta). This is a full-time, permanent role offering a base salary of $95‑120k, depending on experience and qualifications, plus a strong benefits and vacation package.

Responsibilities

• Managing environmental effects monitoring programs, fish and fish habitat baseline surveys, mark‑recapture studies, effectiveness monitoring of restoration/offsetting projects, species at risk assessments, and riparian vegetation inventories.
