Senior Financial Analyst - 3 month contract

Horizon Recruitment is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst to support a growing software business with stronger financial planning, reporting, and decision support. This role will work closely with senior leaders to turn financial data into clear insights that support budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking, and investment decisions. This is a hybrid 3 month contract role based in Surrey, BC, with two days per week in the office – there is an opportunity for a longer term engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting across multiple finance systems
• Prepare financial reports, KPI dashboards, and variance analysis for leadership
• Present financial results and explain key business drivers to management
• Partner with business teams to improve data accuracy and resolve reporting issues
• Build and maintain financial models for revenue, expenses, ROI, and business cases
