Senior Geotechnical Engineer

About this Position

As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer you will be working with multi‑disciplinary project teams to support our clients in Canada and around the world. The role requires flexibility to work in the mining, hydropower, and/or water infrastructure sectors and may include domestic and international travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical aspects of projects, including scope, budget, and schedule.
• Plan, oversee, and interpret geotechnical site investigations and laboratory testing.
• Review geological models and geotechnical design parameters.
• Perform and review advanced analyses (stability, settlement, bearing, liquefaction, etc.).
• Design foundations, slopes, retaining structures, excavations, and ground improvement.
• Prepare and sign off on geotechnical reports, calculations, and recommendations.
• Identify geotechnical risks and propose mitigation/monitoring strategies. <...
