Senior Java Developer

Location: Scarborough, Ontario (Hybrid – 3 days in office & 2 days remote).

As a Java Developer you will dissect business requirements and translate them into technical design, develop, test, and work closely with project stakeholders including PMs, application development leads, business stakeholders, QA, ensuring full traceability.

Responsibilities

• Hands‑on design and development of APIs and Microservices on cloud solutions (e.g., Google GCP).
• Ensure high quality, security and compliance requirements are met.
• Document and take ownership of assigned projects.
• Analyse complex business requirements to generate technical specifications for design or redesign of complex software components and applications.
• Lead technical decision‑making for Agile teams, collaborating with solutions architects and other technical leads.
• Develop coding standards and testing approaches.
