Job Summary

Leverage your expertise in employment and HR law to provide trusted legal advice that supports FCC’s business and its mandate as a Canadian Crown corporation. You will advise leaders on complex legal matters, manage legal risk, and contribute to sound decision‑making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to senior leaders and staff on a broad range of employment and HR matters, including interpretation and application of the Canada Labour Code, and support workplace investigations as required.
• Support employment litigation and manage civil litigation matters independently.
• Supervise outside counsel.
• Interpret statutes, draft internal policies, contracts, and other legal documents to support compliant and effective business decisions.
