Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting

Our client is looking for a Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting for a 4–6-month opportunity. The Senior Manager Corporate Accounting is an integral part of the Corporate Accounting team who will provide leadership and support for the corporate accounting team deliverables related to the accuracy, transparency and timeliness of financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and regulatory standards. This requires technical accounting knowledge, superior business partnership skills, an acute analytical sense and strong attention to detail.

About the Opportunity

• Preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements, notes disclosure for financial statements, MD&A, press releases, investor presentations, and the Annual Information Form (AIF).
• Completion of quarterly and annual impairment testing
• Review acquisitions and disposition agreements and assist with systems set up required for financial statement reporting
