The Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC) is a federal Crown corporation that contributes to the stability of the Canadian financial system by providing deposit insurance against the loss of eligible deposits at member institutions in the event of failure. CDIC has been protecting Canadians’ deposits for more than 50 years. It was established in 1967 by an act of Parliament following financial disruptions that underscored the importance of depositor confidence and systemic stability.

Reporting to the Director, Applications & Data Services, the Senior Manager, Data Services is a key leadership role with responsibility for the tactical and operational direction of CDIC’s technical data services, including data platforms, integration, and governance. This role sits at the centre of CDIC’s ongoing data and technology evolution and offers the opportunity to influence how data is leveraged to support a mandate critical to Canada’s financial system....
