Senior Manager, Expatriate Tax Serivces (Red Deer)

Putting people first, BDO Canada seeks a Senior Manager to lead the Expatriate Tax Services team.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and training to the team in the preparation of Canadian and U.S. individual tax returns.
• Review Canadian and U.S. individual income tax returns.
• Offer day‑to‑day expatriate tax advice, including queries on relocations, payroll benefit taxation, and reporting.
• Conduct additional expatriate tax consulting duties such as researching income‑tax issues and reviewing memoranda or client letters on executive compensation, global equity plans, policy design, and other expatriate tax matters.
• Collaborate with the partner in charge of the practice to develop and support the team.
• Explore future business opportunities with partners across Canada relative to their clients.
• Engage in business development initiatives to grow the practice.
