The salary range for this position is CAD $60.75/Hr. - CAD $87.33/Hr.

Summary

Reporting to the Director, Occupational Health and Safety, the Senior Manager, Safety and Prevention:

• Develops, implements, and evaluates goals and objectives for the Safety, Occupational Hygiene, Violence Prevention, and Musculoskeletal Injury Prevention programs in alignment with the strategic goals and objective of Providence Health Care (PHC).
• Develops and administers the implementation of safety and prevention programs, initiatives and services aimed at promoting a proactively healthy and safe environment for staff, volunteers, physicians, visitors and patients/residents while ensuring compliance with and interpreting legislation, organizational policies and standards, collective agreements and other legal obligations of PHC to ensure consistent and accurate application/administration.
