Job Summary

Senior Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Equipment – Mining, Metals and Minerals (MMM). Full‑time position based in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Responsible for sizing, selecting, specifying, purchasing, installing, inspecting, testing and operating mechanical equipment in MMM processing plants, and for leading mechanical engineering teams on projects.

Reports to the Manager of the Mechanical and Piping Engineering Department (Worley Canada East) and works on a variety of minerals, mining, and metals projects with project teams and customers, upholding Worley’s safety and technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior‑level mechanical engineering involvement in projects from concept to completion, and make expert contributions in equipment selection, system integration and operational efficiency.
• Evaluate and select appropriate sizes and specifications for mining, metals and minerals processing equipment.
