Description
The Senior Network Administrator ensures the stability and integrity of the in-house computer network, voice, data, video, and wireless network services, by planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization.
This individual will also supervise or participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links, acting as an in-house expert and escalation point to analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems, providing guidance and support to Network Administrator I resources wherever possible.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and maintain all network hardware equipment, including but not limited to routers, switches, firewalls, access points, telephony components, UPS devices and all related components therein, while ensuring connectivity of all endpoint devices.
