Senior Pavement Engineer

Overview

The role will provide technical design input into proposing and detailing design solutions for upcoming pavement renewal schemes across the Connect Plus Services (M25) network. There is a wide range of pavement engineering challenges across the M25, and the need for safe, efficient and cost-effective design solutions is fundamental to maintaining the operation and performance of one of the UK's busiest and most critical road networks.

The role will provide opportunities for the individual to take technical ownership of assigned pavement schemes, leading and directing design development from concept through to detailed design. The role will also provide the opportunity to follow through the practical construction onsite across the M25 network.

The Senior Pavement Engineer will be expected to lead engineering reviews with stakeholders and ensure that pavement designs are based around safe and efficient construction processes.
