Description
On behalf of our global client, we are actively looking for a Senior PLC Programmer for one of their locations in Windsor, ON. This role will involve local and international travel, and the successful candidate must be willing to travel 60% of the time. Most travel will be cross border and will be only for the day, but some will require overnight stays.
Responsibilities:Work closely with mechanical and controls engineering experts, as well as skilled trades professionals, throughout the programming, tryout, and installation phases of projects. Execute PLC logic and programming tasks during the build and debug stages at our facilities and at customer sites during installation and launch phases. Introduce programming enhancements to controls and logic systems based on customer changes or evolving manufacturing requirements. Configure and set up smart devices such as cameras, nut runners, and drives, integrating them into active projects. ...
