Senior Project Engineer - Asset Replacement and Refurbishment Program

Job Profile

Under the direction of the Wastewater Planning and Project Delivery Branch Head, the Senior Project Engineer – ARRP is responsible for management of the Department’s Asset Refurbishment & Replacement Program (ARRP), including investment planning, project prioritization and project delivery of capital projects at the City’s three Wastewater Treatment Plants. The project work includes project definition, consultant selection, project management, administration, coordination, and implementation. Projects include engineering studies, designs, construction and contract administration. Capital projects under the ARRP are critical for safe and resilient operation of the City’s treatment facilities, and for continued compliance with the applicable Environmental Act Licenses.
