Senior Project Manager, Occupational Health and Safety

The Senior Project Manager, Occupational Health and Safety, leads strategic planning, development, implementation, evaluation and maintenance of the City’s corporate occupational health and safety programs to facilitate risk mitigation and enable compliance across the organization. This includes overseeing the development of policy, procedures, guidelines, tools, resources and training that facilitate and enable departments to appropriately implement occupational health and safety programs.

Reporting to the Manager of Health, Safety and Wellness, the incumbent works collaboratively with leaders, employees, Joint Health and Safety Committees, union representatives and other stakeholders to ensure programs are compliant, enable implementation and drive continuous health and safety performance improvement.
