Senior Specialist, Occupational Safety

Job Summary

You will support the HSE Director on the design, construction and operation of the Gigafactory in St. Thomas. This includes demonstrating compliance with local, federal legislation and PowerCo requirements, supporting the development of safety elements of the site HSEMS system, and achieving ISO 45001 accreditation. The position is a temporary hybrid model, requiring two days per week onsite with eventual transition to fully onsite.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with all statutory Health, Safety and Environmental requirements, including internal and external reporting.
• Oversee the design of process equipment and building services for HSE related matters.
• Oversee the development, implementation and management of local ISO 45001 and the health and safety aspects of the HSEMS systems.
