About the Role

The Senior Underwriter at Northbridge Insurance plays a key role in providing comprehensive underwriting solutions for Canadian businesses, working collaboratively with brokers and internal teams to deliver balanced decisions.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with broker partners to evaluate risks and make underwriting decisions.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Use technical skills to assess risks accurately.
• Coach, mentor, and develop junior underwriters.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in property and casualty underwriting.
• Completed or pursuing a CIP designation.
• Strong customer‑service background.
• Team‑first mentality.
• Construction insurance experience a plus.
