Responsibilities
- Research and observe industry trends paired with sales feedback to translate into new innovative concepts via illustrations/ hand sketches and draping, executed within the brand aesthetic.
- Help curate seasonal mood boards alongside the Creative Director and design team.
- Meet with fabric, trim/ component, and embellishment vendors to make initial selections for new season consideration with Creative Director and sales team
- Work with existing vendors and source new vendors to develop fabrics and techniques specific to the creative direction of each collection.
- Design and oversee creation of new styles for collections that are shown twice a year in New York (April and October) and once a year in Barcelona (April).
- Prepare and present new design concepts to the Creative Director and sales director, to collaborate and make selection of what moves forward together. <...
