Manage daily service department workflow and scheduling
Oversee the performance and productivity of foremen, lead hands, service writers, and technicians
Ensure company policies, reporting practices, and operational standards are followed
Develop and manage the service department budget to meet operational and financial goals
Prepare quotes for customer work orders and oversee the opening and closing of work orders
Inspect and operate customer equipment as part of troubleshooting and diagnostics when required
Monitor monthly service revenue and expenses and adjust operations to maintain profitability
Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations and industry standards
