Service Worker I

Your Opportunity:

As a Service Worker I, you will be responsible for safe handling and transportation of contaminated equipment from various clinics, nursing units and operating rooms (OR) throughout the University of Alberta Hospital Campus to the Medical Device Reprocessing Area (MDRA) following all related standard operating procedures. In addition, you will then be required to safely distribute clean and sterile supplies back to the areas. The incumbent is responsible for the day-to-day stocking and return of all MDRA supplies that are received from the warehouse and returned from the OR. You will be required to work with other Service Workers to perform pre- assigned departmental duties such as unloading the Cart Washers and Washer Disinfectors, Top Up and other duties as assigned by the Working Leader or Supervisors.
