MSC1119H (0.25 FCE) Epigenetics Applications in Human Health and Disease

This 6‑week modular course is designed to expose graduate students to the field of epigenetics, its applications in normal human development and to examine the different aspects of epigenetic alterations that could lead to disease. The course is designed to address the knowledge and skills gap in the emerging field of epigenetics. It will provide hands‑on tutorials to help graduate students understand how, where, when and why epigenetic marks are important and how to study them.
