Become a key Automotive Technician at a busy garage, responsible for thorough inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of vehicles. This role requires relocation and involves engaging directly with customers.
Ideal candidates will maintain high standards in vehicle servicing, having 3-5 years of hands-on experience and a relevant trade diploma. Responsibilities include testing mechanical units, adjusting components, and ensuring vehicles meet safety specifications. Your communication and coaching skills will also be critical to mentoring apprentices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Confirm repair or replace decisions with supervisor
• Conduct mechanical inspections to find faults
• Test and adjust repaired automotive systems
• Provide reports on work performed for records
• Discuss necessary repairs with customers directly
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years automotive experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Own tools and required safety gear
