Position Summary
This position safely and effectively performs a variety of skilled duties including new construction, repair, and maintenance in Water and Sewer Operations. This position reports to a Coordinator or Crew Lead.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Perform skilled duties in maintaining the water distribution and sewer collection systems.Dig trenches or excavations by hand and using power-operated tools and equipment.Maintain good working relationship with fellow workers and supervisors.Direct equipment operators with hand signals for grade, repair, or replacement of pipes, etc., in excavation activities.Supervise and train other employees assigned as helpers.Operate tandem and single axle trucks assigned to Water and Sewer Operations.Assist in a variety of other duties and safely use equipment in Water and Sewer Operations.Effecti...
