Songhees Nation Executive Director Position

Become the Executive Director of the Songhees Nation, leading operations and fostering community engagement. This full-time in-person role, based in Greater Victoria, requires a collaborative leader with a strong financial background.
In your role, you will report to Chief and Council, providing strategic direction and operational oversight. Your leadership will facilitate governance processes, human resource management, and develop an annual operating plan. You will maintain strong relationships with community members, staff, and partners while implementing policies effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on meeting agendas and strategic planning
• Advise on policies to achieve Council's objectives
• Manage the preparation of the annual budget
• Conduct performance reviews and coaching for staff
• Oversee community engagement initiatives and reports
Requirements:
• Degree in related field, master’s preferred
