Overview

Food World Supermarket is seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef specializing in Japanese cuisine to support daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced, high-volume retail food environment.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in authentic Japanese dishes, including sushi, sashimi, ramen, donburi, tempura, and other traditional or contemporary Japanese preparations. This role ensures consistent quality, authentic flavors, efficient back-of-house operations, and adherence to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Menu Development & Promotions : Assist in developing and updating Japanese menu offerings, including sushi, ramen, donburi, bento boxes, and hot dishes.
