Description
We are seeking a fully trained Sous Chef Tournant who will be well versed in the preparation of buffet style, multi-ethnic dishes including sushi and familiar with modern health-conscious methods of food preparation, safety, and handling. The successful candidate will be rotated into different areas of our Food Service Program based on business requirements. This is a hands‑on position and reports to the Executive Chef, Food Services. Essential job functions include the following:
Duties and Responsibilities
- Mise en Place organize and arrange all components required for menu items
- Follow and enhance our Deli menu to MarketPlace standards
- Cook all approved menu items for our Food Service Program
- Assist in the preparation of specialty food items
- Prepare salads, sandwiches, and other food related orders
- Display hot and cold foods in the Salad Bar and Specialty Case
