Taught in Spanish. Through reading representative works this course introduces students to the study of Spanish literature, paying special attention to questions of critical approach and terminology, genre, literary history, and the historicity of texts.

Qualifications
Required Academic Degree: Doctoral degree
Required Discipline: Spanish

The candidate should be up‑to‑date with current scholarship in Spanish literary studies, including recent critical approaches to genre, historiography, and textual interpretation in the Spanish‑speaking world.
