Special Procedures Technologist - Dayshift 8:30P (Huila)

Job Summary

The Special Procedures Technologist performs invasive procedures in partnership with the interventional radiologist, responsible for patient assessment, education pre- and post procedure, safe care, and monitoring during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and educate them pre- and post-procedure.
• Monitor patient safety and care during procedures.
• Safely administer radiation and contrast dosing.
• Process images and maintain regulatory documentation.
• Operate and maintain vascular C‑arm equipment to capture correct imaging.
• Apply and maintain up-to-date knowledge of radiation protection and safety practices.
• Assist in preparing and positioning patients for procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in interventional radiology preferred.
