Specialist Clinical Pharmacist, Mental Health (LW)

Overview

NHS Fife Pharmacy and Medicines Directorate has a permanent post for a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist in Mental Health services, North-East Fife. The role involves managing a caseload of inpatients and outpatients with a range of mental health conditions, ideally as an independent prescriber or someone working towards independent prescribing qualification. You will provide support and advice to patients, carers/families and multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the governance and safe use of medicines within inpatient mental health services in North-East Fife.

Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centred, seamless care across services, including community mental health teams, primary care and community pharmacies. You will also participate in service development, quality improvement and educational supervision of pharmacy staff and the wider multidisciplinary team.
