About the role

Support the development of the Sourcing Plan and category strategy; execute against the plan and monitor performance and outcomes.

What you will be doing

• Generate and implement sourcing strategies alignned with the category strategy, supporting the development and execution of the category strategy through market intelligence and agreed initiatives.
• Develop, execute and monitor the annual sourcing plan for the assigned categories, ensuring alignment and timely execution with key stakeholders.
• Prepare, distribute RFx documents. Collate and analise the responses.
• Develop negotiation strategies to ensure Orica’s position is commercially and legally strong and will deliver the best outcome.
• Assist in communication with key stakeholders in development and changes to sourcing strategy.
• Coordinate product development and new supplier initiatives, managing the interfaces with support functions (PPIS...
