Specialist, Systems Infrastructure & DevOps (Research Storage)

Full‑time fixed‑term position for approximately 12 months, with possibility of extension.

Reports to the Team Lead Infrastructure Services (Enterprise Compute/Storage). The normal shift is 7.0 hours per day, five days per week (Monday to Friday, 08:30-16:30). Overtime is rare but may be required for incidents or maintenance windows. Work can be high stress due to critical infrastructure that must be available 24/7.

This position is part of the AUPE bargaining unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise storage platforms (SAN/NAS/Object) including provisioning, zoning, LUN masking, replication, and performance turning
• Automate deployment, configuration, and testing using IaC (e.g., PowerShell, Ansible, REST APIs, Terraform)
