ResponsibilitiesDesign new computer room air conditioning (CRAC) productsCollaboration across the disciplines of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, process engineering, as well as production and offering teams.Work with these teams for design reviews, meeting cost metrics, and brainstorming around customer pain points.Performs a variety of engineering calculations using traditional engineering methods to verify design requirementsCreate, evaluate, select and review electrical box and electrical panel layouts, ensuring proper component placement, component selection and compliance with applicable codes and standards.Selecting and evaluating electrical components, instrumentation, and control devices.Design/develop/create/review/revise 2D and 3D revision-controlled CAD for electro‐mechanical assemblies, point‐to‐point wire harnesses, wire routings, wire and fuse sizing, connection drawings, customer‐facing electrical diagrams (schematics) using a Product Data Management (...
