Sr. Product Engineer I (Saltillo)

Purpose: The position provides support and performs project activities related to writing Engineering Change Orders, writing BOMs in SAP, correcting BOM errors, summarizing testing data and DVP&R, conducting tear‑down on project samples, and reporting findings to meet customers’ requirements and expectations under supervision and mentoring of Lead Acid System Engineers.

• Assist as needed in project activities related to the build of engineering samples to measure and characterize plates, DUF and WET batteries and process parameters.
• Execute activities related to the design, development, and validation of products.
• Prepare detailed plans to track area performance and assure timely completion and achievement of project goals.
• Support team members on any regional product line projects.
• Report on project progress to management on a weekly and monthly basis.
