About the Role

The Staff Engineer – Android will own and shape the overall product experience across Maps, Realtime, Feed, Notifications, History, and coordination features at Life360. This role spans multiple teams and delivers a cohesive, fast and emotionally resonant free user experience for our 91M monthly active users.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with technical leads to align on architectural guardrails, patterns and execution plans across teams.
• Provide direction to help teams sequence work effectively and collaborate toward a cohesive experience.
• Unblock complex technical challenges, deliver prototypes and conduct deep reviews that raise engineering quality across the department.
