Job Summary
The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in kitchen and service areas, ensuring compliance with the hotel’s quality and hygiene standards. They support the kitchen and food & beverage team in daily operations.
Main responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize utensils, dishes, cutlery, glassware, and kitchen equipment.
- Keep work areas clean, including floors, walls, tables, and kitchen equipment.
- Ensure that trash containers are cleaned and emptied regularly.
- Properly operate dishwashing machines, sinks, and cleaning equipment.
- Immediately report any damage or malfunctioning of equipment to the supervisor.
- Comply with safety and health standards set by the company and local authorities.
