Structural Engineer (Contract – Fly‑In/Fly‑Out)

Travel: Flights provided from Calgary or Edmonton

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to support a large brownfield industrial facility. This role is site‑based on a Monday–Thursday fly‑in fly‑out rotation , with flights provided from Calgary or Edmonton. The successful candidate will provide structural engineering oversight, develop inspection programs, and support Operations and Maintenance teams in a live plant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a structural inspection program for an operating facility.
• Assess the condition of structural assets including pipe racks, conveyors, towers, platforms, hoppers, and lifting structures .
• Provide day‑to‑day structural engineering support to Operations and Maintenance.
• Review plant changes, maintenance activities, and small projects that may impact structural components.
