Roska DBO Inc. is currently seeking a contract
Structural Engineer
to work out of Ft. McMurray on a 4/3 schedule working 10 hour days. This is a camp position offering flights from Edmonton or Calgary.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a structural inspection program for a brown field facility
Structures to be assessed include pipe racks, conveyors, slurry towers, overhead cranes, hoppers, etc.
Inspection program to be cost effective, data driven and optimized to mitigate risks associated with running plant conditions
Regularly communicate with members of the various Business Unit Teams to determine what engineering support they require.
Understand the status of various projects which may affect structural components in the different plants
Education, Training, Certifications
Engineering Degree is required, preferably Civil/Structural
Registered as a professional engineer in Alberta ...
