Summer Camp Leader, Auxiliary Competition No. 26-28. Internal/External Opportunity. This is a Union Position. Anticipated start date: June 15, 2026.
About the Opportunity Recruiting individuals to plan and lead a variety of Day Camps and Extended Care programs for 12 weeks. The position is temporary, from June 15, 2026 to September 4, 2026, with potential extension into Fall for Out of School Care program.
Responsibilities
Ensure fun and safety of participants through supervision, first aid response, site safety checks, risk management, and positive behavior management.
Create detailed lesson plans, supply lists, and lead activities during 10 weeks of summer camps.
Lead games, arts and crafts, sports, and outdoor recreational activities for children ages 3-14.
Foster inclusive, welcoming camp environment by adapting activities, communication strategies, and supports to meet diverse needs.
