Summer Club 1 on 1 Camp Assistant (4-month contract)

We are seeking 1-to-1 Camp Assistants to support campers who benefit from additional assistance in order to fully participate in ROM Summer Club.

Responsibilities

• Review the assigned camper’s profile and conduct a pre‑camp caregiver phone call to build familiarity and trust.
• Prepare customized materials to support camper inclusion and engagement.
• Promote full participation in camp activities, adapting games, movement through the Museum, and field trips as needed.
• Provide consistent support during breaks, lunchtime, and transitions.
• Ensure the camper’s daily care routines, health support needs (including medications), and adaptive equipment use are safely managed.
• Act as a friendly and respectful point of contact for caregivers, keeping them informed of their child’s experience.
