Position Details

The Grounds Department requires the services of students to assist permanent staff in grounds care.


Duties will include:
  • Mowing with push and ride on mowers

  • String trimming

  • Emptying trash bins

  • Litter picking

  • Planting

  • Hardscape / Landscaping

  • Digging for irrigation repairs

  • Cleaning tilling and weeding feature beds

  • Other duties as assigned.

    • Pay Rate: $19.22 per hour. Position Qualifications
  • Previous Zero Turn Mower Experience.

  • Previous Weed Whip Experience.

  • Work independently or as a team member, in a high-volume, service orientated work environment with frequent changes to work priorities.

  • A valid unrestricted Class 5 Driver’s License with no more than 6 demerits and submission of a motor vehicle record (driver abstract) dated within 3 months of the posting close is required.
