General Mission As a Cost Leader, you will be the bridge between Engineering, Purchasing, and Finance. Your mission is to optimize product costs from the design phase (Design-to-Cost) through the entire lifecycle, ensuring our technical solutions are both innovative and economically viable. Key Responsibilities Cost Analysis: Lead the analysis and calculation of product costs (BOM, labor, overhead) for new developments and existing product lines. Design-to-Cost (DtC): Collaborate with R&D and Product Engineers to identify cost‑saving opportunities during the design phase without compromising quality. Benchmark & Should-Cost: Perform technical benchmarks and should-cost modeling to support the Purchasing team in supplier negotiations. Profitability Tracking: Monitor project margins and proactively identify deviations from budget, proposing corrective action plans.
