Under general direction, responsible for procurement of specialized items and executing buying complex strategies in accordance with agreed upon material buying plans at the optimum cost/quality relationship.
Analyzes market and industry conditions and develops supply recommendations.
Interviews sales representatives and vendors.
Handles complex assignments and may train and coach junior buyers.
Qualifications
Role typically requires more than five years of experience.
